Spaghetti with Green Beans and Mushrooms

This recipe calls for mushrooms, green beans and onions, but you can add as many vegetables as you wish to make this recipe even better.  Stir in some walnuts or pine nuts to give this pasta a crunchy kick.

All you need

225g  al alali Spaghetti #2
1 cup al alali Cut Green Beans
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
5 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
450g al alali Pieces & Stems Mushrooms
8 sun-dried tomatoes packed in olive oil
2 tsps. al alali Oregano
1 tbsps al alali Ground Black Pepper
Salt to taste
1/3 cup of lightly toasted and coarsely chopped walnuts or pine-seeds

Directions

  • Prepare the al alali Spaghetti according to directions mentioned on the pack. In the last 2 minutes of cooking the pasta, add al alali Cut Green Beans. Set aside
  • In a saucepan, heat 1/4 cup of olive oil. Sauté the onion and garlic, stirring continuously , until the onion softens
  • Add al alali Pieces & Stems Mushrooms and sauté till they caramelize and the liquid is almost gone
  • Add sun-dried tomatoes and al alali Oregano
  • Add 1 tablespoon al alali Ground Black Pepper and salt to taste
  • Mix all and add the pasta and beans
  • Add 1/2 cup of the pasta-boiling water
  • Mix and continue cooking on very low heat another 2-3 minutes
  • Add 1/3 cup of lightly toasted and coarsely chopped walnuts or pine-seeds
  • Let the pasta stand for 2 minutes before serving
  • Serve & enjoy!
